We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising without your consent.
We only share your data where this is needed for the purposes above:
Some of these providers process data outside Switzerland. Web3Forms is operated from India and uses infrastructure providers (Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Hetzner) that may process data in several regions, including the European Union and the United States. Google may process data in the United States.
Where a country does not provide a level of data protection recognised as adequate by the Swiss Federal Council, the transfer is based on the safeguards provided in the providers' contractual terms (such as the standard contractual clauses recognised by the FDPIC) or, where these are not available, on the fact that the transfer is directly connected with handling your request or concluding a contract with you.
We keep valuation requests and messages for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and delete them afterwards unless you sell your car to us. Contracts and accounting records for completed purchases are kept for ten years, as required by Swiss law. Server log files are deleted by the hosting provider after a short period.
This website currently does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If we introduce such tools in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
Under Swiss data protection law you have the right to:
To exercise these rights, write to info@sellcar.ch. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If you are in the European Union, you can also contact your local data protection authority.
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to this website.
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update.
